Section 1

Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (the AUP) applies to everyone who accesses or uses the Largence platform and Service (you), and forms part of the Terms of Service between you and Largence Group Ltd. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in the Terms. If you breach this AUP, we may suspend or terminate access in accordance with the Terms.

You are responsible for your Authorised Users' compliance with this AUP and for all activity under your account.

Section 2

General obligations

You must use the Service only for lawful, professional purposes, in accordance with the Terms, the documentation, and all applicable laws and professional and regulatory rules that apply to you.

You must not use the Service in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful, or that infringes the rights of others.

Section 3

Prohibited conduct

You must not, and must not permit any person to:

  1. use the Service to provide legal services you are not qualified or authorised to provide, or to engage in the unauthorised practice of law;
  2. upload, store or transmit any content that you do not have the right to provide, or that infringes any intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality or other right;
  3. upload or transmit any malware, malicious code, or anything designed to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to any system or data;
  4. probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure, or access any account, data or area you are not authorised to access;
  5. use the Service in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on, or interferes with, the Service or its infrastructure, or exceed applicable rate or usage limits;
  6. scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service except through functionality we provide for that purpose;
  7. copy, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code, models, or the Largence knowledge graph or statute index, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
  8. use the Service, or any Output, to develop, train or improve any competing artificial-intelligence model or competing product, or to benchmark the Service for a competitor;
  9. use the Service to harass, defame, threaten, or harm any person, or to generate or distribute unlawful, discriminatory, or abusive content;
  10. misrepresent AI-generated Output as independently verified or as professional legal advice, or rely on Output without the human review required by the Terms;
  11. remove, obscure or alter any proprietary notice, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
  12. resell, sublicense, or make the Service available to third parties except as expressly permitted; or
  13. use the Service in breach of any applicable export-control, sanctions, anti-money-laundering, or data-protection law.

Section 4

AI-specific rules

The AI Features are tools that assist qualified professionals. You must maintain meaningful human oversight of the AI Features and Legal Agents, verify Output before relying on it, and not configure or use any autonomous feature in a way that removes appropriate human review of actions that have legal or external effect.

You must not attempt to manipulate the Service to produce unlawful content, to extract another customer's data, or to defeat the safeguards, access controls or ethical walls in the Service.

Section 5

Security and responsible disclosure

You must keep your credentials secure and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access or security incident. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to security@largence.com and do not exploit it or disclose it publicly before we have had a reasonable opportunity to address it.

Section 6

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches of this AUP and may remove or disable access to content, and suspend or terminate access, in accordance with the Terms. Where we reasonably believe there is a serious risk to the Service, to other users, or of harm or illegality, we may act immediately. We will cooperate with law-enforcement and regulatory authorities where required by law.
